Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church

Greek revival style church built in 1839. A statley white oak tree over 600 years old stands in the churchyard where 35 Revolutionary War soldiers are buried.

Coffee House (Turner Homestead)

Built in 1804, the house is an example of a New Jersey frame farmhouse which later served as a tavern.

Lord Stirling Manor Site

Two brick slave quarters are all that remain of the Lord Stirling estate. Archeological digs are currently taking place on the site which is owned by the Somerset County Park Commission.

The Brick Academy

Originally called the Basking Ridge Classical School, it is the oldest existing Federal-style building in Bernards Township, and the present home of the Historical Society of Somerset Hills.

Van Dorn Mill

One of the finest examples of stonework in New Jersey, the grist mill was constructed in 1834, replacing a 1786 structure which had ground grain for colonial troops. It was fully operational until World War II.
